Community Guidelines
Capable, honest, and respectful
Trail Connector works only when participants communicate honestly and leave one another safer than they found them.
Respect people and boundaries
No harassment, discrimination, threats, unwanted sexual conduct, retaliation, stalking, exploitation, or pressure to accept or continue an interaction.
Represent yourself accurately
Use your own account. Do not invent emergencies, impersonate another person, manipulate verification, conceal material hazards, or exaggerate experience, equipment, insurance, or professional status.
Put safety before completion
Anyone may stop. Follow laws, closures, land rules, manufacturer guidance, and reasonable recovery practices. Do not operate while impaired or encourage reckless behavior.
Respect privacy and property
Use location and communications only for the interaction. Do not publish a vulnerable person’s location, identifying information, private messages, or images without permission. Do not enter, move, attach to, repair, or recover property without authorization.
Report serious concerns
Use block and report tools for threats, fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, dangerous conduct, or privacy abuse. Contact emergency services first when immediate danger exists.
Consequences
Trail Connector may warn, restrict, suspend, or deactivate accounts and helper privileges based on severity, history, evidence, safety, and legal obligations.
